Zoo Welcomes Trio of Cubs
Peekaboo! Can you spot the clouded leopard cubs triplets in this pile of animals?
Meet the playful babiesZookeepers monitoring two jaguar cubs at the Milwaukee Zoo via a video feed say they’re nursing and sleeping — and scratching and hissing.
The duo was born on November 13 to first-time mom Stella and dad Pat, a rescued, wild-born cat. At approximately 14 years old, Pat brings new genes to the captive jaguar population.
The healthy cubs, who currently weigh 8.5 and 9.4 pounds, had their first checkup last week, complete with vaccinations and microchipping. The exam also revealed their genders: two boys!
It will be three to four weeks before the brothers make their public debut, but until then, you can catch their antics on the zoo’s web cam.
