We already knew country star Miranda Lambert had a special place in her heart for rescue dogs. (She has at least six at home.) But last weekend, the singer worked to find homes for dozens of other dogs at an adoption event near her Oklahoma home.
Now, the Late Night host is bursting with excitement about his 3-week-old baby girl, Winnie Rose.
Fallon recently tweeted this photo of Gary lying sadly beside what looks like a baby basket with the caption: “I’ll always love you Gary." It left some people wondering if Gary was feeling depressed about the attention her new sister was getting, reported People Pets.
But Dad quickly cleared up any confusion by sharing a photo of Gary contently floating in the pool. “Sorry for any confusion,” he wrote. “My dog is happy and healthy and just taking care of her little sister.”
Apparently there’s plenty of love to go around for the two little girls in this family!
(If you need any tips on introducing your dog to your baby, you can find them here.)
This actress’ new love interest is tall, dark and handsome — with four legs and lots of fur.
Yes, we’re talking about Jennifer Aniston’s canine costar, Remy the German Shepherd.
While filming Squirrels to the Nuts in New York, People Pets reports that Aniston has been spotted petting Remy, and getting lots of big kisses.
(Sorry, Remy. Aniston is engaged to be married to actor Justin Theroux.)
Aniston, a well-known dog-lover, has two dogs at home — Sophie, and a white German Shepherd named Dolly.
Her comedy is due in theaters in 2014.
Turbo the snail puts the “go” in “escargot.”
The speedy little creature is the star of DreamWorks’ new animated flick, Turbo, and thanks to a freak accident, he’s super fast.
Like anyone with a need for speed, Turbo dreams of winning one the world’s most illustrious car races: the Indy 500. Of course, since he’s a snail, no one thinks he stands a chance. Do you think this little guy with big dreams can prove them wrong? Based on the trailer below, we think he has a pretty good chance.
Turbo, starring Ryan Reynolds and Paul Giamatti, opens in theaters nationwide on Wednesday, July 17.
This is a much more cuddly Adams Family than the one we saw on TV.
Mandy Moore and her husband, Ryan Adams, adopted two new cats from the Los Angeles Animal Rescue last weekend.
"Welcome Addison and Maddie to the Adams Family!" the singer and actress Tweeted on Sunday, along with a photo of their kitties. "[Thank You] @LAAnimalRescue for allowing us to give them a home."
Seacrest, out. Capuchin monkey — in.
Actress Julianne Hough, who recently made headlines with her split from American Idol host Ryan Seacrest, shared a photo of herself with a monkey on her shoulder earlier this week on Instagram.
“I found my soul mate last night!” she wrote with the image. “Thanks @mariamenounos78 for throwing such a fun birthday party!”
Extra host Maria Menounos, who celebrated her 35th birthday at her Los Angeles home, had quite a menagerie at her party, including a parrot and a snake, according to People.
But the monkey seemed to be the biggest party animal; in addition to posing with Hough, he had his photo taken with stars including Hough’s brother, Derek, Kris Jenner and Khloé Kardashian.
Epic’s Amanda Seyfried isn’t the only one in her household with acting chops.
“I got him cast in his first movie," Seyfried said. "I can't really talk about his character, but it's going to shoot in September. I'm really excited about it. He's really excited about it."
The proud stage mom admitted that DeGeneres was right when she described her relationship with Finn as “borderline.”
"Oh, yeah. I know," Seyfried confessed. "He's with me right now. He's actually backstage. I really can't go many places without him."
The talk show host showed some of Seyfried’s photos of her and her pup from her own Twitter feed on the big screen behind them, and presented the actress with a gift: a larger-than-life framed photo of Seyfried and Finn by a roaring fire that the actress had tweeted as a joke.
We've loved seeing all the touching tributes to the city of Boston since the Marathon attack last month, and here's yet another to warm our hearts: Kevin Spacey's new puppy.
The House of Cards actor tweeted a photo over the weekend of his new little lady, adopted from the North Shore Animal League. "New member of my family. Her name is Boston in honor of the city," he added.
Spacey flew to Boston after the bombings to visit and pose for photos with doctors, nurses and the first responders who helped at the finish line. "Real heroes," he wrote.
Soon, Boston the puppy will join Spacey's other dog, Mini, who he said is "15 & still acting like a puppy. Be a week or so before she can meet Boston. I'm definitely in dog heaven!"
Not long before Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard welcomed their baby girl, the actress tweeted a photo of her fur baby, Lola, curled up with her bare belly.
“Eavesdropping,” she captioned the picture.
Lola might have really gotten some inside information! Bell announced the arrival of her first child, Lincoln Bell Shepard, the next day.
It wasn’t the first time the little Corgi mix had used Bell’s baby bump as a pillow. In January she shared another picture of Lola snuggling with her belly. And earlier in her pregnancy, Bell posted pictures of the couple’s other rescue dog, Shakey, making a comfortable resting spot out of the Veronica Mars actress’s pregnancy pillow.
So congratulations to Kristen and Dax — and, of course, to Lincoln’s proud siblings.
With her Academy Award-winning movie Les Miserables coming out on DVD tomorrow, star Amanda Seyfried is kicking back — with her dog.
“He’s dreaming on me,” the actress tweeted on Monday, along with a picture of her BFF, Finn, curled up with her.
There, his cover photo is a still from the movie All Dogs Go to Heaven 2, and he refers to Seyfried as “Mother” in his tweets.
We’re pretty sure Finn has picked up more than a few new followers!
