While this animal may look like a cross between a bunny and a fawn, it’s actually a Patagonian cavy — a rodent that’s native to South America and is closely related to the guinea pig.

Two of these little creatures were born recently at the Tisch Children’s Zoo, part of the Central Park Zoo in New York. And because they’re so adorable, we’re adding them to our list of rodents that we wouldn’t mind snuggling.
